Plot

Op haar tiende gaat Fanny Price op het landgoed Mansfield Park leven, bij Sir Thomas, de rijke echtgenoot van haar tante. Ze raakt bevriend met Edmund, de jongere broer van Thomas. Wanneer Fanny ouder wordt trekt ze de aandacht van een buur, Henry Crawford. Edmund ziet een relatie tussen de twee wel zitten, maar Fanny vindt dat Henry zich eerst moet bewijzen.
