Abby werkt als assistent en schrijver van de populaire podcast van haar studievriendin Serena. Als er een journalist langskomt om Serena te interviewen, krijgt ze een ongelukje waardoor ze de journalist onmogelijk te woord kan staan. Het is aan Serena om de knappe journalist Jack af te leiden. Terwijl hij op zoek gaat naar de waarheid, krijgt zij langzaam gevoelens voor hem.
