Het verhaal van de dappere Iraanse Reyhaneh Jabbari. Toen ze 19 was, doodde Reyhaneh een man die haar dreigde te verkrachten. Haar doodstraf kan worden omgezet als de familie van het slachtoffer haar vergeeft. Voor Reyhaneh wordt dit een keuze tussen haar leven en haar waarden.
