Anna, een vrouw van rond de dertig, staat tien jaar na de dood van haar echtgenoot op het punt om opnieuw te trouwen. Tijdens de verjaardag van haar moeder ontmoet Anna een 10-jarige jongen die haar vertelt dat hij de reïncarnatie is van haar overleden echtgenoot. Het leven van Anna komt door die gebeurtenis flink overhoop te liggen.
