Dr. Dolittle, die met dieren kan praten, heeft dit maal als doel om een bedreigde beer voor uitsterven te behoeden. De beer heeft echter geen kans op overleven als er geen mannetje gevonden kan worden. Dolittle komt op de proppen met Bruno, een circusbeer met een liefde voor fast food.
