Ondanks dat hij in een buurt woont waar vechten in het dagelijks leven is verweven, heeft de zeventienjarige middelbare scholier Miguel er nog nooit een meegemaakt. En om eerlijk te zijn, vindt hij dat ook prima. Maar wanneer een combinatie van gebeurtenissen zijn leven op zijn kop zet, belanden Miguel en zijn drie beste vrienden - de stoïcijnse David, de ruige Cass en de scherpe Srini - in een reeks avonturen terwijl hij probeert zijn allereerste vechtpartij te vinden.
