De 20-jarige Chloe Grayden ondergaat een experimentele behandeling om haar beschadigde gehoor te herstellen. Na de procedure gaat ze naar het strandhuis van haar familie om op rust te komen. Chloe begint echter last te krijgen van auditieve hallucinaties die in verband lijken te staan met de mysterieuze verdwijning van haar moeder.
