Computerdeskundige Hannon Fuller ontdekt iets belangrijks: hij wil het aan zijn collega Douglas Hall vertellen, maar aangezien er iemand achter hem aanzit, laat hij het bericht achter in een paralelle computerwereld die identiek is aan de wereld in de jaren '30. Douglas moet nu op zoek in het systeem om het bericht te vinden.
