Armand heeft dan wel een zoon (Val), maar hij is openlijk homoseksueel. De jongen werd dan ook opgevoed door twee vaders, die samen een nachtclub beheren waar Albert als een travestiet te zien is. Hun zoon Val is echter nu verloofd met de dochter van Kevin Keely, een senator, die absoluut zijn zegen niet zal geven voor een huwelijk als hij wist dat de ouders van Val twee mannen zijn. Dit zou namelijk een schandaal opleveren waar hij niks mee te maken wil hebben. Val vraagt zijn vader nu om voor een keer zich uit te geven voor heteroseksueel.
