De eerste vertoning van The Muppet Movie, een film over hoe de muppets bij elkaar gekomen zouden kunnen zijn. Het begint met Kermit de kikker die in het moeras zit, vliegen te vangen. Als een literair agent uit Hollywood hem zegt dat hij talent heeft en miljoenen mensen blij kan maken gaat hij op weg naar Hollywood. Onderweg ontmoet hij Fozzie, een beer die grappen verteld, maar ook Doc Hopper, een hebzuchtige man die een keten kikkerbilletjes-restaurants heeft. Doc Hopper wil dat Kermit voor hem werkt en reclamespots maakt, maar daar ziet Kermit niets in.
Nee, helaas is The Muppet Movie nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
