Als jonge executive assistant voor een lifestylemagazine droomt Trish ervan om journalist te worden. Ze wist haar directeur ervan te overtuigen haar een column te laten schrijven, op voorwaarde dat deze over het trouwseizoen zou gaan. Trish moet namelijk naar de drie bruiloften van haar vriendenkoppels die drie weken achter elkaar plaatsvinden en waarvan ze bruidsmeisje is. Moe van de vraag wie haar date is, besluit ze de drie bruiloften bij te wonen met de broer van haar beste vriend, die een echte bondgenoot blijkt te zijn in deze gekke periode van festiviteiten.
