Max is een scholier op een privé-school. Hij haalt slechte resultaten maar organiseert van alles en nog wat rond school. Hij raakt bevriend met de rijke en depressieve fabrieksmagnaat Blume en wordt verliefd op zijn lerares, Miss Cross. Hij komt er achter dat Blume ook verliefd is op Cross, en zoekt wraak.
