Brent Barrymore is geen gelukkige regisseur. De afgelopen drie weken heeft hij elke avond een afschuwelijk toneelstuk moeten zien; zijn eigen toneelstuk, samen met een klein publiek van lokale bezoekers in een oud theater. Tot overmaat van ramp is hij ervan overtuigd dat zijn vrouw en productiemanager, Nadine, een affaire heeft met zijn hoofdrolspeler Marcus. De conciërge van het theater lijkt echter een duister geheim uit het verleden te kennen dat Brent mogelijk van zijn huidige problemen kan verlossen. Tenminste, zolang Brent bereid is wat bloed aan zijn handen te krijgen.
