Sinds jaren staat het donkere en verboden huis verlaten en alleen op de heuvel, zo lijkt het. Geïntrigeerd door het duistere verleden van het huis lokt Dr. Marrow drie proefkonijnen, Theo Nell en Luke, naar het huis om samen met hem een schijnbaar onschadelijk experiment uit te voeren. Bij haar aankomst voelt Nell zich op een geheimzinnige wijze tot het huis aangetrokken en deze interesse blijkt wederzijds te zijn. '
