John Othello is een zwarte politieman die promoveert tot commisaris nadat hij een raciaal getint opstootje heeft weten te sussen. Zijn vriend en collega Ben Jago (Shakespeare's Iago) is furieus dat hij gepasseerd is voor deze functie, en hij begint in het geheim Othello dwars te zitten, onder meer door hem te vertellen dat zijn vrouw vreemd gaat.
Nee, helaas is Othello nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
