Een aan lager wal geraakte voetbalcoach stelt een nieuw elftal samen van voormalige Shaolin-monniken die hun unieke vechtstijlen gebruiken in de voetbalsport. De aanvoerder van het team is Shaolin-meester (Honk Kong superster Stephen Chow) die zijn 'Stalen Been Techniek' aanwendt om de bal met lichtsnelheid de goal in te trappen. Hun doel is het winnen van het nationale toernooi met een miljoen dollar als hoofdprijs. Maar wanneer ze dichterbij de hoofdprijs komen, bedenkt een corrupte voetbalbobo een vuil plannetje om het Shaolin-team te dwarsbomen.
Nee, helaas is Shaolin Soccer nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
