GG, een acroniem voor “goed spel”, draait om Seth met de bijnaam Eskape, een vastberaden aspirant-profgamer die zichzelf onderdompelt in de wereld van videogames en betrokken raakt bij het “competitieve barkada-gamen” terwijl hij de verschillende uitdagingen binnen zijn eigen familie het hoofd moet bieden. Eskape rouwt om het verlies van zijn geliefde oma, die hem opvoedde. Hij is gedwongen om bij zijn vervreemde moeder te gaan wonen, die hem als baby in de steek liet. Zijn leven verandert drastisch wanneer hij een uitnodiging ontvangt om zich aan te sluiten bij een esportsteam.
