Peter Colt is een tennisser die het niet meer heeft, steeds verder zakt hij op de ranglijst en hij bereikt zelfs het dieptepunt als hij op de 119e plaats komt te staan. Gelukkig voor hem komt hij de jonge, mooie gemotiveerde Lizzie Bradbury tegen die hem wel kan motiveren om nog eenmaal een grote prestatie te leveren tijdens Wimbledon.
