Voormalig topcrimineel Gal Dove (Ray Winstone) ligt lekker te zonnen aan de rand van zijn zwembad aan de Costa Del Sol. De psychopaat Don Logan (Ben Kingsley) komt de uit vorm geraakte Gal recruteren voor een bankroof in Londen. Gal ziet dit allesbehalve zitten aangezien hij zich had voorgenomen voorgoed te breken met het criminele leven. Don Logan neemt echter geen 'no for an answer' en doet er alles aan om Gal op andere gedachten te brengen.
