Air America was de naam van de privé-luchtverbinding die de CIA tijdens de Vietnam-oorlog met Laos had. Nadat Billy Covington zijn vliegvergunning kwijtraakt gaat hij voor Air America werken, waarna hij tussen een groep maffe piloten terecht komt die druk bezig zijn met wapen- en drugssmokkel.
Nee, helaas is Air America nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
