In het kleine Amerikaanse plaatsje Midwich vallen op een dag plotseling alle mensen en dieren een paar uur lang flauw. Niet veel later blijkt dat een aantal van de vrouwelijke bewoners van Midwich ineens zwanger is. De kinderen die zij negen maanden later baren hebben een identiek uiterlijk en zijn op zeer jonge leeftijd al ontzettend intelligent. Als er dan verscheidene doden beginnen te vallen, weten de dorpelingen dat er iets goed mis is met deze vreemde kinderen.
Nee, helaas is Village of the Damned nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
