Overal waar de vijfjarige Dennis komt, laat hij een spoor van vernieling en rotzooi achter en het lijkt wel of zijn buurman, meneer Wilson, er het meest wordt door getroffen. Als blijkt dat zijn beide ouders ver weg moeten voor een zakenreis, moet Dennis logeren bij zijn buren. Dit tot grote tegenzin van meneer Wilson, die een belangrijk avondje in het verschiet heeft met veel gasten.
Nee, helaas is Dennis de Bengel nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
