Begin jaren 90 verscheen X-Men: The Animated Series op televisie en raakte miljoenen mensen die verlangden naar weer eens iets anders. De serie behandelde, in tegenstelling tot andere tekenfilms, thema's als vooroordelen en sociale rechtvaardigheid. Breng tijd door met de originele cast, als ook met nieuwe stemmen, terwijl Assembled herinnert aan de geboorte van The Animated Series en de heropleving ervan 30 jaar later met X-Men '97.
Nee, helaas is Assembled: The Making of X-Men '97 nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
