José Alberto lijkt veroordeeld om als een verloren ziel door het platteland te dwalen sinds het moment van de vroegtijdige dood van zijn geliefde. Totdat op een dag de natuur samenzweert om hem aan zijn martelende verleden te herinneren. Er is kracht voor nodig om het mysterie dat in hem schuilt te ontrafelen, en misschien om eindelijk los te komen van het leven dat vastgeketend is aan melancholie.
