De zeer keurige Rebecca Warner komt thuis op de boerderij met een verrassende gast; een typische, maffe, excentrieke student genaamd Crawl. Haar ouders hebben nog nooit zo'n mafkees gezien, maar de eerste schok is nog niets vergeleken bij het gevoel dat ze krijgen wanneer Rebecca meedeelt dat ze met Crawl verloofd is.
