Gebaseerd op het schilderij 'The Christmas Cottage' van Thomas Kinkade, is dit het verhaal over een kleine gemeenschap die onder leiding van een oude mentor de familie Kinkade te hulp schiet als zij hun huis dreigen te verliezen. Dit alles op de dag voor Kerst en de inspiratie voor de jonge Thomas Kinkade om zijn meesterwerk te maken.
