Joanne werkt 's nachts als serveerster in een wegrestaurant om rond te kunnen komen. Na een late dienst keert de vermoeide Joanne naar huis. Tijdens de rit rijdt ze per ongeluk iemand van de weg. De bestuurder neemt het echter persoonlijk op en begint haar te stalken. Joanne besluit om het recht in eigen handen te nemen in plaats van het slachtoffer te zijn.
