Mike ontdekt dat het zo zijn voordelen heeft om de beste lachverzamelaar te zijn bij Monsters, Inc. Hij verdient met name genoeg geld om een auto met zeswielaandrijving te kopen die boordevol gadgets zit. Die geur van nieuwe auto's duurt echter niet lang genoeg als Sulley een noodlottige proefrit start die Mike de ware betekenis van het berouw van de koper leert.
Nee, helaas is Mike's Nieuwe Auto nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
