De duivelse magiër Xusia ligt al meer dan duizend jaar dood in zijn graf als de kwaadaardige krijgsheer Titus Cromwell hem met behulp van een heks weer tot leven roept. Cromwell heeft de tovenaar nodig voor zijn oorlog tegen het vredelievende volk van Koning Richard. Met behulp van Xusia's duistere magie weet Cromwell het rijk te veroveren en de hele koninklijke familie uit te moorden. Maar de jonge prins Talon ontsnapt aan het bloedbad en keert jaren later terug als barbaarse huurling met maar één doel voor ogen: wraak.
Nee, helaas is The Sword and the Sorcerer nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
