Deze film vertelt het verhaal van twee vrouwen uit Värmland die een droom hebben. De ene wil naar Frankrijk, de ander wil rally rijden. In de film jagen ze hun droom na, wat niet altijd even makkelijk is. De mannen uit de plattelandsgemeenten in de jaren '60 zijn nog niet zo geëmancipeerd, maar de vrouwen hebben het laatste woord.
