Het verhaal volgt Jordan, een telefoonoperator van het noodnummer 911. Zij krijgt een oproep van Casey, een tienermeisje dat ontvoerd is en opgesloten zit in de kofferbak van een auto. Wanneer blijkt dat de ontvoerder een seriemoordenaar is die ze uit haar verleden kent zal Jordan haar eigen angsten onder ogen moeten zien.
