Amanda is een Amerikaanse die de nodige problemen in haar relatie ondervindt. Om even weg te zijn van al dit gezeur, ruilt ze gedurende de vakantie haar huis tegen die van een onbekende Engelse. Hierdoor komt ze in het leven van Iris en nemen ze tijdelijk elkaars leven over.
