April, 1824. Vlak voor de première van Beethovens negende symfonie, krijgt hij ruzie met zijn assistent Schlemmer, die daarop vertrekt. Beethoven laat het Weense conservatorium weten, dat ze hun meest talentvolle student moeten sturen om hem te helpen de symfonie voor te bereiden. Het conservatorium stuurt Anna Holtz, die met hem aan het werk gaat en hem tot enkele van zijn later wereldberoemde stukken inspireert.
Nee, helaas is Copying Beethoven nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
