Larry Daley gelooft, ondanks zijn tot op heden ongelukkige leven, dat er iets groots voor hem staat te gebeuren. Dat blijkt wel als hij aangenomen wordt als nachtwaker bij het "Museum of Natural History". Tijdens zijn diensten beginnen er vreemde dingen te gebeuren. Gladiatoren en cowboys voeren een nachtelijke strijd terwijl een Neanderthaler zijn eigen display verbrandt, en de T-rex iedereen laat zien waarom hij het meest gevreesde roofdier is uit de geschiedenis.
Nee, helaas is Night at the Museum nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
