Ted en Bill zullen niet slagen als ze geen voldoende halen voor hun presentatie geschiedenis. Een zekere Rufus komt met een telefooncel uit de toekomst om ze te helpen. Samen reizen ze door de tijd om onderzoek te doen voor de presentatie.
