In de huid van Iron Man voorkomt miljardair Tony Stark een aanval van een nieuwe mysterieuze vijand. Daarbij komen onschuldige omstanders om het leven, waaronder zijn beste vriend War Machine, luitenant-kolonel James Rhodes. Iron Man wordt gevangen gezet om door S.H.I.E.L.D. verhoord te worden. Maar hij slaagt erin te ontsnappen en gaat op jacht naar het brein achter de aanval. Op de hielen gezeten door Black Widow en Hawkeye roept Iron Man de hulp in van de genadeloze Punisher. Maar is de gepantserde wreker opgewassen tegen zijn nieuwe vijand die beschikt over een dodelijk wapen: Technovore, een biotechnologie waarmee al het leven op aarde vernietigd kan worden.
Nee, helaas is Iron Man: Rise of Technovore nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
