Marc en zijn vrouw Agnes ontvangen in hun moderne woning een stel vrienden. Voor de gelegenheid scheert Marc zijn snor af die hij al jaren heeft. Tot zijn verbazing heeft niemand iets opgemerkt en kan ook niemand zich herinneren dat hij een snor had. Hij begint een complot te vermoeden.
