Auteur Paul Sheldon zet een punt achter de populaire Misery serie en besluit om vanaf nu echte literatuur te gaan schrijven. Het onheil begint als hij vertrekt van zijn vast schrijfplek: hij wordt overvallen door een sneeuwstorm, krijgt een ongeluk en wordt vervolgens wakker in het bed van een trouwe maar compleet gestoorde fan.
Nee, helaas is Misery nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
