Elephant laat een 'gewone' schooldag op een Amerikaanse high school zien. Deze dag is gevuld met schoolwerk, football, roddelen en gezelligheid. Voor elke student die we ontmoeten, is de high school een andere ervaring: stimulerend, leuk, traumatisch, eenzaam en hard. Stimulerend en leuk omdat ze hun vrienden weer ontmoeten en traumatisch en hard omdat de jongeren gevolgd worden in de uren voor een dramatisch bloedbad.
Nee, helaas is Elephant nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
