Lucy treedt op als zangeres in café's. Tijdens een van haar optredens ziet ze Adam binnenkomen en ze is op slag verliefd op hem. Adam is charmant, jongensachtig, lief, kortom de man van haar dromen. Al snel vormen zij een stel en besluiten zich te verloven. Maar Lucy's zussen Laura en Alice zien hun nieuwe zwager ook wel zitten. Eerst begint de één een affaire met hem, gevolgd door de ander. Als de broer Adam dan ook nog eens meer dan leuk begint te vinden, is het hek helemaal van de dam.
