Een New Yorkse politieagent ontmoet een afvallige priester. De priester betrekt hem in een zaak en overtuigt hem ervan dat het gerelateerd is aan demonen, dit tegen zijn religieuze overtuiging in. Samen proberen ze de zaak op te lossen en de paranormale krachten te bestrijden.
