'The Cusp' is een seriemoordenaar die zijn slachtoffers vermoordt en weer tot leven wekt. Dit doet hij steeds weer, totdat zijn slachtoffers hem smeken hun te vermoorden. Maya is een detective met een bijzondere psychische gave die ze heeft verkregen toen zijn The Cusp's eerste slachtoffer was. Maya kan en zal in de gedachte van The Cusp kruipen om zo zijn laatste slachtoffer te redden.
