JC lijkt een zorgeloos leven te leiden. Hij is een levende surflegende en woont samen met zijn vriendin Chloe. Hoewel hij de dertig nadert, lukt volwassen worden hem vooralsnog niet. Op een dag staan zijn drie beste vrienden voor de deur. Dean, een drugdealer, en Josh, een muziekproducer, hebben Terry, die op het punt staat te trouwen, gedrogeerd en ontvoerd. Ze willen zijn laatste dagen als vrijgezel vieren. De confrontatie met zijn oude vrienden zorgt voor spanningen tussen JC en Chloe.
