Plot

Een portret van Otto Preminger (1905-1986), de eerste onafhankelijke Amerikaanse cineast, die regelmatig de Hayes Code uitdaagde door taboe-gegevens als homoseksualiteit, druggebruik, vrije liefde, verkrachting en politieke corruptie in zijn films te verwerken. In deze documentaire komen heel wat bekende mensen praten over hun werk met Preminger en hun aubades worden geïllustreerd met fragmenten uit zijn bekendste films. Aan het woord onder meer: Michael Caine, Deborah Kerr, James Stewart, Frank Sinatra, Vincent Price en Peter Bogdanovich.
