Rijke vrouwenversierder David ontmoet de mooie Sofia en valt als een blok voor haar. De volgende dag wordt hij door een ex-vriendinnetje opgehaald, die in een hysterische bui met de auto een ongeval veroorzaakt. David overleeft het ongeluk, maar zijn gezicht is vreselijk verminkt. Het geluk lijkt weer te keren wanneer David met Sofia herenigd wordt, en artsen zijn gezicht in de oude staat kunnen herstellen.
