De Amerikaanse Burgeroorlog. Een bende criminelen gaat er na een bankoverval vandoor met een lading goud. Ze hebben een locatie nodig om de nacht door te brengen, en vinden die in de vorm van een onbewoond landhuis dat in de omgeving van een plantage staat. Gedurende de stormachtige nacht komen de bendeleden tot de ontdekking dat zij niet alleen zijn, en dat het landhuis een duistere geschiedenis kent.
