Remu groeide op in bescheiden omstandigheden. Hij stopte tijdens zijn tienerjaren met school en maakt carrière als kleine crimineel. Het lot van zijn familie staat op het punt werkelijkheid te worden, en het wordt het gebruikelijke: gevangenis, alcoholisme en gewelddadige dood. Nadat hij over rockmuziek heeft geleerd, leert Remu drummen en gaat hij deel uit maken van verschillende bands. Zijn eerste keer in de gevangenis onderbreekt zijn muziekcarrière, maar na zijn vrijlating begint hij zijn eigen band.
