De legende van de haan Hanekam staat beschreven in het boek van Edmond. Als het water van de rivier stijgt en het blijft regenen roept Edmond de hulp van Hanekam in. Een sinistere uil wil echter niet dat de zon ooit nog opkomt, en geeft zijn achterlijke neefje de opdracht om Hanekam het zwijgen op te leggen. Samen met een hond en andere boerderijdieren gaat Edmond op zoek naar Hanekam die in Las Vegas als Elvis werkt.
Nee, helaas is Hanekam de Rocker nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
