In een sprookjesland leeft men heel gelukkig tot een afgezant van de duivel aan het hof van de koning verschijnt met de aankondiging dat de duivel wenst te huwen met de mooie prinses van het land. De koning doet een tevergeefse oproep aan alle helden in het land om hem te helpen de duivel te verslaan, maar slechts eentje meldt zich bij hem: het kleine boerenjongetje Spriditis. Ondanks alle hoon en ongeloof in zijn kunnen gaat hij op pad om de duivel een lesje te leren.
Nee, helaas is Sprīdītis nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
