De meervoudig onderscheiden militaire technicus Generaal Irwin is veroordeeld tot een verblijf in een militaire gevangenis. De gevangenis, met de hoogste beveiliging, wordt met ijzeren vuist geleid door de cipier Colonel Winter. Winter kan niets anders dan de legendarische generaal te waarderen, maar deze waardering slaat om wanneer Irwin hem maar blijft aanspreken op zijn methoden. De confrontatie tussen de twee escaleert wanneer de generaal de andere gevangenen weet over te halen om de gevangenis over te nemen.
Nee, helaas is The Last Castle nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
